FOR KIDS AGE 9 - 18
In NC 65% of adults over the age of 18yrs is classified as obese. There are significant racial and age disparities in obesity prevalence. Teaching healthy lifestyle habits through prevention is our goal.
Partnering for more than five years to help introduce interested youth to the sport of Track and Field through collaboration with The Carolina Eagles Track and Field Club. City Youth provides partial scholarships annually to offset the cost of participating in organized sports.
Signature program which creates interactive events for school aged children through the City Youth Sports and Fitness Foundation. Event proceeds are used to fund ongoing recreational, educational and economic programming. Learn More
Back on Track
Fall/Winter - With over five years of partnership with the Alexander Family YMCA. The Back on Track program is available to Middle School and High School youth which are referred by either a physician, coach, teacher or existing participant. The program focuses on core fitness, overall strength and endurance and is offered three days per week.
